Buy Judge.me if you want unlimited product reviews for $15 a month at most; buy REVIEWS.io if you run Google Ads or sell across several country domains and need seller ratings, SMS invites and surveys managed in one place. Judge.me has two plans, Free and Awesome at $15 a month, and neither one meters orders or review requests. REVIEWS.io has four paid plans from $29 to $500 a month in the US, and each one is priced by how many review invites you send.

That price gap is real, and it is not the whole story. The two apps are built for different stages of a store, and the useful question is which stage you are in. Every price below was read from each company's own pricing page in September 2026, in US dollars, and REVIEWS.io figures come from the price list its order slider loads for United States visitors.

REVIEWS.io pricing vs Judge.me pricing

The honest way to compare the two is to price the same store on both. REVIEWS.io counts every email or SMS review request as an invite, so a store's invite count tracks its order count. Judge.me does not count anything. Here is what each costs on monthly billing at four store sizes.

Store sizeREVIEWS.io, cheapest plan that covers itREVIEWS.io with Google Seller RatingsJudge.me Awesome
250 orders a month$29 Essentials (300 invites)$79 Start-Up$15
1,000 orders a month$79 Start-Up (1,000 invites)$79 Start-Up$15
5,000 orders a month$130 Start-Up (5,000 invites)$130 Start-Up$15
20,000 orders a month$525 Grow (Start-Up stops at 5,000)$525 Grow$15

Over a year, the 5,000 order store pays $1,560 on REVIEWS.io Start-Up billed monthly, or $1,248 billed yearly, against $180 on Judge.me. A brand with that store on three country domains triples the REVIEWS.io figure, because REVIEWS.io bills each top-level domain as its own subscription. The full invite ladder for every plan, including SMS and survey add-ons, is on our REVIEWS.io pricing page.

One detail narrows the gap for Klaviyo users. REVIEWS.io's FAQ says a request sent through an external tool such as Klaviyo only counts as an invite once the customer clicks through to the review page. A store that sends review requests from Klaviyo flows pays for the customers who engage, which can put a larger store on a lower invite tier than its order count suggests.

Where REVIEWS.io earns the extra money

If Judge.me does the basics for $15, the case for REVIEWS.io has to rest on what it does beyond the basics. There are four things worth paying for.

Seller ratings and ad reach. REVIEWS.io puts Google Seller Ratings and Google Rich Snippets on Start-Up at $79 a month. For a store spending thousands a month on Google Ads, stars under the ad are the point of the whole purchase, and REVIEWS.io is built around them.

SMS and surveys under one bill. Start-Up includes 100 SMS invites a month and Grow adds 100 survey replies, with larger packs sold as add-ons. A brand that wants review requests by text message and post-purchase survey data in the same dashboard gets both without a second vendor.

Reputation tooling on Grow. Grow adds a reputation manager, AI review summaries, competitor analysis and custom attributes. That is a marketing team's tool, and it is where REVIEWS.io stops competing with Judge.me on price and starts competing with Yotpo and Trustpilot on scope.

Retail syndication on Plus. Plus lists Bazaarvoice syndication, shoppable UGC galleries, translation and a customer success manager. A brand selling through big box retailers needs its reviews to travel there, and Judge.me's pricing page does not offer that.

Where Judge.me wins

Judge.me's argument is simple and it holds up: its own pricing page says $15 a month is the most you can ever pay, whether you take 50 orders or 50,000. The Free plan already includes unlimited product and store reviews, unlimited photo and video reviews, Google Rich Snippets and the display widgets, which is more than the REVIEWS.io Free plan's 25 invites a month.

Awesome adds AI review snippets, summaries and replies, Google Shopping and social media publishing, referrals and coupons, every integration including Klaviyo, Omnisend, Gorgias and Shopify Flow, and full widget customization. Both plans get 24/7 chat and email support and the same SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certifications, and cancelling Awesome drops the account to Free without deleting a single review.

For a Shopify store under a few thousand orders a month that is not buying reviews for ad stars, there is very little on the REVIEWS.io side of the table that justifies ten times the price. If you are also weighing a photo review app, we compared that choice separately in Judge.me vs Loox.

Once the reviews are flowing, the strongest photo and video reviews are also your best ad creative. Plenty of stores now turn their top-rated products into UGC-style video ads rather than paying a creator for every variation, and a review app with a clean export makes that easy.

What neither app does: testimonials on the pages that sell

Both apps attach reviews to products. A product review answers "is this blender any good?" on the blender's page. It does not answer "why should I buy from this brand?" on your homepage, your about page or the landing page a paid campaign sends traffic to. That second job is a testimonial: a named customer, in text or on video, explaining why they chose you and what changed.

That is what we built automated testimonial collection for. You send one request link from the post-purchase email you already run, customers record video straight in the browser with no login and no app, and approved testimonials land on a Shopify testimonials wall or slider with one line of embed code. Plans are flat, with no order or invite meter, from $49 a month on our pricing page. Plenty of stores run Judge.me for product stars and us for brand proof, and the two do not overlap.

If Yotpo is also on your shortlist, its order-based ladder is laid out band by band on Yotpo pricing. It is the most expensive of the three at every store size, and our REVIEWS.io vs Trustpilot comparison covers the other common shortlist.

Questions buyers ask about REVIEWS.io vs Judge.me

Is Judge.me better than REVIEWS.io?

For most small and mid-sized Shopify stores, yes on value. Judge.me covers unlimited product, photo and video reviews for $15 a month at most, while REVIEWS.io starts at $29 and rises with review invites. REVIEWS.io is the better choice for brands that need Google Seller Ratings, SMS, surveys and retail syndication managed together.

Is Judge.me really free?

Yes. Judge.me's Free plan is permanent and includes unlimited product and store reviews, unlimited photo and video reviews, Google Rich Snippets, the main display widgets and 24/7 support. The paid Awesome plan at $15 a month adds AI features, Google Shopping, social publishing, coupons, referrals, all integrations and full customization.

How much does REVIEWS.io cost per month?

REVIEWS.io costs $29 a month for Essentials, $79 for Start-Up, $175 for Grow and $500 for Plus on monthly billing in the US, or 20 percent less billed yearly. Those are entry prices: sending more review invites raises the price within each plan, and each top-level domain is a separate subscription.

Why is Judge.me so cheap?

Judge.me says on its pricing page that the low price is deliberate: two plans, one flat price, no hidden fees and no costs that scale with orders. Its FAQ says it could charge more, as other review apps do, but keeps pricing accessible and reinvests in the product. What you give up is the managed service that REVIEWS.io Plus includes.

Can I move my reviews from Judge.me to REVIEWS.io?

Yes. REVIEWS.io lists review importing from Start-Up upward, and Grow includes a contract buyout offer for stores leaving another provider. Judge.me imports reviews from other apps and spreadsheets too, so the move works in either direction. Export your reviews to a file before cancelling anything.
