Common Ninja, what each plan costs

Common Ninja Pricing and Common Ninja Plans for Website Widgets

Common Ninja sells more than 100 website widgets, from Google reviews and a testimonials slider to forms, countdowns and chat buttons, and it sells them at three different price ladders depending on where you buy. Below is the commoninja.com ladder read from its own pricing page on October 15, 2026, the Wix and Shopify app ladders read from their marketplace listings the same day, and what each one costs a small business in US dollars.

In short

Common Ninja costs $0 on Free, $24 a year on Essentials, $38.40 a year on Pro and $62.40 a year on Ultimate, which works out to $2.00, $3.20 and $5.20 a month. Those are list prices for one widget, billed annually only, and the price rises with the number of widgets you pick. VAT is added on top where it applies. Plans bought inside the Wix or Shopify apps are priced separately, with published view limits, and do not carry over to commoninja.com.

What you get

What a flat testimonial plan changes next to Common Ninja pricing

No view meter on any plan

Common Ninja does not publish how many views its paid commoninja.com plans include. Our plans have no view limit at all, so a wall in your site footer is never hidden after a busy week.

Testimonials collected, not typed in

The Common Ninja testimonials slider is filled in by hand. We send your customer one link, and they write a quote or record a video in the browser with no login.

Consent stored with each quote

Every submission carries the customer's permission to publish their name and words, so the quote can move into an ad or a sales deck without a second email.

Monthly or yearly, your choice

Starter is $49 a month or $288 a year, Growth $89 or $528, Studio $149 or $888. Common Ninja sells its commoninja.com plans yearly only.

How it works

From one request link to embedded proof in four steps

01

Count the widgets you actually need

Common Ninja prices per widget. A reviews block on the homepage, a badge in the footer and a FAQ on the pricing page are three widgets, and the list price only covers one.

02

Decide where you will buy

A plan bought on commoninja.com, inside the Wix app or through a Shopify app is three separate subscriptions with different limits. Pick the one that matches the site you are building.

03

Estimate your monthly pageviews

Views are counted each time a widget loads. Multiply your monthly sessions by the pages each visit sees if the widget sits on every page.

04

Try collecting one testimonial

Use the demo above to write or record a short answer the way your customer would and see it land on a wall.

Every plan mixes video testimonials and written quotes in one Wall of Love, and you embed it anywhere with a lightweight testimonial widget.

In depth

Common Ninja pricing, plan by plan

Common Ninja pricing plans at a glance

The commoninja.com pricing page shows four plans and one sentence that changes how to read them: the prices are list prices for a single widget, billed annually, and the price scales with the widget count you choose. We read the page on October 15, 2026. Figures are US dollars and exclude VAT.

PlanPer year, one widgetPer month equivalentBilling
Free$0$0No card required
Essentials$24.00$2.00Annual only
Pro$38.40$3.20Annual only
Ultimate$62.40$5.20Annual only
EnterpriseCustomCustomThrough sales

Three details sit outside the table. Monthly billing is not offered on any paid commoninja.com plan; the page marks each one as billed annually. The FAQ says VAT is calculated separately based on your country and that discounts may apply at checkout. And the page does not list what each tier includes in widgets, views or branding, so the step from Essentials to Ultimate is a price you can see for a difference you cannot.

Common Ninja has three price ladders, not one

The same company sells the same widgets through its own site, through a Wix app and through a set of single purpose Shopify apps, and each channel has its own plans. The Wix listing states plainly that a plan bought through the app covers the widgets you create in it on that site, and that subscriptions bought on commoninja.com are separate and do not carry over.

Where you buyPlansWhat the limits look likeBilling
commoninja.comFree, Essentials $24, Pro $38.40, Ultimate $62.40 a year per widgetPrice scales with widget count; view limits not publishedAnnual, USD, VAT extra
Wix app (All in One Ninja Widget Suite)Free, Basic, PlusFree: up to 300 monthly views and 1 active widget. Basic: unlimited views, up to 25 active widgets, branding removed. Plus: unlimited views, up to 2,500 active widgets in the plan table (the listing text says 1,500)Through Wix, in your local currency
Shopify app (Common Ninja FAQ, one example)Free, Basic $5, Pro $10, Business $15 a monthViews: 300, 2,000, 100,000 and 3,000,000 a month. FAQ widgets: 2, 10, 100 and 1,000Through Shopify, every 30 days, USD

The practical upshot is that the cheapest route depends on your platform. A Wix site that needs a reviews widget, a FAQ and a logo slider gets all three under one Basic plan with unlimited views. A Shopify store buys each widget type as its own app, with its own bill. Anyone else buys per widget on commoninja.com. One more data point worth knowing before you buy through Wix: the suite's Wix listing showed a 2.2 average rating from 13 reviews on the day we read it.

What happens when you reach a view limit

On the Wix and Shopify plans the limits are published, and the free tiers are small. 300 views a month is about ten visits a day to a single page that carries the widget. A widget in a site wide footer counts a view on every page of every visit, so a site with 400 monthly sessions at three pages each uses 1,200 views, four times the free allowance.

Common Ninja's widget pages describe the free plan as view limited and say paid plans have higher monthly limits. Its pricing FAQ adds the subscription rules: you can cancel at any time and keep using the widgets until the end of the month you paid for, and when a subscription expires the widgets keep working but revert to the free plan, losing premium features. Deleting a widget does not cancel the subscription, which the FAQ answers directly because people get charged for widgets they removed.

Common Ninja pricing next to Elfsight, SociableKit and POWR

All four sell display widgets for any website, and they meter different things. This is what one Google reviews or testimonials widget costs on a small business site, using the cheapest paid plan of each, with the figures from our Elfsight pricing, SociableKit pricing and POWR pricing pages.

VendorEntry paid planOne yearWhat sets the priceView limit

POWR Testimonial SliderStarter, billed annually$47.40One plugin type, slide countNot the pricing unit
ElfsightBasic, regular yearly rate$72Widget count and views welded together5,000 views a month on Basic
SociableKitPro, yearly$110Number of sourcesNone on paid plans

Common Ninja is the cheapest way to put one widget on one site by a wide margin. The order changes as the site grows. SociableKit lets one source feed unlimited widgets, so the same Google reviews shown in three layouts is still $110 a year there, while on Common Ninja it is three widgets at a price you only see after choosing the count. We priced those two head to head in Common Ninja vs SociableKit, and Common Ninja against Elfsight in Elfsight vs Common Ninja.

Is Common Ninja worth the price?

For a small site that needs one or two simple widgets, yes. $24 a year is less than a single month of most review tools, the editor works across Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow and others, and having a FAQ, an opening hours box and a reviews block in one account is genuinely convenient. Common Ninja says more than 500,000 businesses use its widgets.

It is a weaker buy in three cases. If your site gets steady traffic, the commoninja.com plans do not tell you how many views you are buying, so you cannot check in advance whether a footer widget will stay visible. If you need several widgets, the per widget price only appears after you pick a count. And if what you want is testimonials, the Testimonials Slider is a display tool: you type or paste each quote, name and photo yourself. It does not ask customers for anything.

Where testimonial software fits next to a widget library

A widget library displays content you already have: reviews pulled from Google, quotes you pasted in, a FAQ you wrote. That covers a lot of a small business site. What it does not do is produce the content that persuades a buyer on a services page, a named customer explaining what they were stuck with and what changed, ideally on video.

That is the part Testimonials does. You send one request link after a job or a renewal, the customer writes a quote or records a short video from their phone with no login, their consent to publish is stored with the submission, and you approve it into a Wall of Love or an embed on any site, including the same Wix, Squarespace or WordPress site that runs your Common Ninja widgets. Plans are flat with no view meter: Starter is $49 a month or $288 a year, and Growth at $89 a month adds automated request sequences and rich snippets. The request flow is on our automated testimonial collection page, and the display side on the testimonial widget page.

Frequently asked

Common ninja pricing, the questions people actually ask

How much does Common Ninja cost?

Common Ninja costs $0 on Free, $24 a year on Essentials, $38.40 a year on Pro and $62.40 a year on Ultimate, according to its pricing page on October 15, 2026. Those are list prices for one widget, billed annually, and the price scales up with the number of widgets you choose. VAT is added separately.

Is Common Ninja free?

There is a free plan for every widget, with no credit card required, but it is view limited. On the Wix app the free plan allows up to 300 monthly views and one active widget, and the Shopify apps also start at 300 views. Paid plans raise those limits and add premium features.

Does Common Ninja charge per widget?

Yes, on commoninja.com. The pricing page says its prices are for a single widget and that the price scales with the widget count you pick. The Wix app works differently: one Basic or Plus plan covers up to 25 or up to 2,500 active widgets on that site.

Can I pay for Common Ninja monthly?

Not on commoninja.com, where the paid plans are billed annually. Monthly billing is available when you buy through the Shopify apps, which bill every 30 days, and the Wix app offers a monthly or yearly toggle through Wix.

Does a Common Ninja plan bought on Wix work on commoninja.com?

No. The Wix listing says a plan bought through the app covers the widgets you create in it on that Wix site, and that subscriptions bought on commoninja.com are separate and do not carry over. Buy the plan in the channel where the site lives.

What happens when my Common Ninja subscription expires?

Your widgets keep working but revert to the free plan, and premium features stop. If you cancel, you keep the paid features until the end of the month you paid for. Deleting a widget does not cancel the subscription; you cancel from the Billing menu in the dashboard.

Does Common Ninja have a testimonials widget?

Yes, a Testimonials Slider, along with Google, Facebook and G2 reviews widgets. The slider displays quotes you enter yourself with a name, role and photo. It does not send requests to customers or record video testimonials, so collecting the quotes is a separate job.

Is Common Ninja cheaper than Elfsight?

For one widget, yes. Common Ninja Essentials is $24 a year, while Elfsight Basic is $6 a month at its regular yearly rate, or $72 a year, for 3 widgets and 5,000 monthly views. Elfsight publishes its view limits; Common Ninja's commoninja.com plans do not.
