Boast Pricing: Boast.io Plans, Response Limits and Video Testimonial Costs

Boast sells video testimonial collection by the response. Every form submission draws down a pool, and the plan you pay for also sets your video resolution, clip length, locations and staff. Every figure below was read from boast.io/pricing in both billing modes, including the full plan comparison table, not from a review site.

In short

Boast has three self-serve plans and no free plan. Basic costs $59 a month billed monthly or $600 a year ($50 a month) and includes 600 responses a year (50 a month on monthly billing), 720p video, 5 minute clips, 5 forms and 1 location. Team costs $119 a month or $1,200 a year for 1,800 responses, 1080p, 10 minute clips, SMS requests and 5 locations. Premium costs $249 a month or $2,496 a year for 6,000 responses, 4K, 15 minute clips and 20 locations. Enterprise is custom. There is a 14 day free trial with no credit card.

What you get

What a flat plan changes next to Boast pricing

No response pool to ration

Our plans do not count submissions. A month where 200 customers record a clip costs the same as a month where 5 do, so you never hold back a request to protect a quota.

No resolution tier on the entry plan

We do not price video by resolution. On Boast, 720p is the Basic ceiling and 1080p starts at Team, $119 a month.

Brands and locations without a tier jump

Studio is $79 a month, or $65 billed yearly, for unlimited brands, spaces and seats. On Boast a sixth location means Premium.

Monthly billing with no penalty in limits

Every plan can be paid month to month and cancelled at the end of the period. Nothing about your allowance changes when you pick monthly.

How it works

From one request link to embedded proof in four steps

01

Count responses, not videos

Boast counts every submission to your forms, text or video. Estimate how many customers you will ask each month and how many will answer.

02

Check the three hard gates

Resolution (720p, 1080p, 4K), locations (1, 5, 20) and SMS requests decide your tier before volume does. Write down which ones you need.

03

Pick a billing mode

Annual gives you one yearly pool you can spend unevenly. Monthly resets a smaller pool every month and costs 18 to 20 percent more.

04

Price a flat plan next to it

Collect one testimonial with the demo above, then compare the Boast tier you actually need with one flat plan before you start the trial.

Every plan mixes video testimonials and written quotes in one Wall of Love, and you embed it anywhere with a lightweight testimonial widget.

In depth

Boast pricing, plan by plan

Boast pricing for every plan, monthly and annual

These are the prices on the Boast pricing page, read in September 2026 with the billing toggle in both positions. The annual toggle is labeled Get two months free, and the annual prices are shown as a monthly equivalent, so the real annual charge is twelve times the number on the card.

PlanBilled monthlyBilled annuallyAnnual chargeResponses
Basic$59 a month$50 a month$600 a year50 a month, or 600 a year on annual
Team$119 a month$100 a month$1,200 a year150 a month, or 1,800 a year
Premium$249 a month$208 a month$2,496 a year500 a month, or 6,000 a year
EnterpriseCustom, through a sales conversationCustomUnlimited responses, forms, locations and staff

Two small things to know before you compare with other tools. The plan cards call the entry tier Basic, while the comparison table further down the same page labels that column Plus. They are the same plan with the same limits. And the page states that you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time, with a 14 day free trial that does not ask for a credit card.

Is the annual discount really two months free?

Close, but slightly less. Two months of the monthly price would be $118 on Basic, $238 on Team and $498 on Premium. The actual difference between twelve monthly payments and the annual charge is a little smaller on every tier.

Plan12 monthly paymentsAnnual chargeReal savingTwo months of monthly price
Basic$708$600$108 (15%)$118
Team$1,428$1,200$228 (16%)$238
Premium$2,988$2,496$492 (16%)$498

The gap is small, so the better reason to choose annual is the pool, not the price. Annual gives you one yearly allowance of responses and sequence enrollments that you can spend unevenly, which suits a business with a busy season. Monthly gives you one twelfth of it every month, and a strong month cannot borrow from a quiet one.

What counts as a Boast response, and what one costs

The comparison table defines a response as a submission to your forms. That includes written feedback as well as video, so a customer who types two sentences uses the same unit as a customer who records five minutes. It also means a form that asks for a star rating and a comment draws down the pool on every submission, whether or not you ever publish it.

If you use the full allowance, here is what a single response works out to on each plan.

PlanAnnual billingMonthly billing
Basic$1.00 per response ($600 / 600)$1.18 per response ($59 / 50)
Team$0.67 per response ($1,200 / 1,800)$0.79 per response ($119 / 150)
Premium$0.42 per response ($2,496 / 6,000)$0.50 per response ($249 / 500)

Those are floors, reached only if every response is used. A business that sends 40 requests a month and hears back from 15 is paying about $3.93 per response on monthly Basic. That is the real number to compare, and it is why the pool size matters less than it looks for small programs and more than it looks for busy ones.

The limits that push you up a tier before volume does

Most buyers pick a Boast tier by response count. In practice, one of these gates usually decides it first. All rows come from the plan comparison table on the pricing page.

LimitBasicTeamPremium
Video quality720p1080p4K
Max video length5 minutes10 minutes15 minutes

Video fields per form1510
Request channelsEmail onlyEmail and SMSEmail and SMS
Video automations (intros, outros, music, watermarks)NoYesYes
Custom consent termsNoNoPremium only
Phone supportNoYesYes

Three rows do most of the damage. A single location on Basic means a business with a second office is on Team from the start. Email-only requests on Basic matter for home services, dental and fitness, where customers answer a text far more readily than an email. And custom consent terms sit only on Premium, which is a real issue for regulated buyers. A dental practice or financial adviser that needs its own release wording, rather than a generic consent checkbox, is looking at $2,496 a year before it collects a single clip. Our pages on dental testimonials and financial advisor testimonials explain what that wording has to cover.

Every tier includes video editing, Boast-hosted landing pages, the custom form builder, submitter consent, display widgets, CSV and video download, Google and Facebook review requests, and Zapier. Those are not reasons to move up.

What Boast costs for a real program

Here is the same testimonial program priced on Boast and on our plans, using annual rates for both. Each row names the gate that sets the Boast tier.

Your programBoastTestimonials

Edited clips with branded intros, outros and musicTeam, $1,200 a yearBoast wins this row: we do not edit video

The pattern is consistent. Boast gets cheaper per response as you climb, but the climb is triggered by resolution, locations and channels long before most programs use their pool. If your program needs edited video and texting, Boast is built for it and the Team tier is fair value. If it needs clean clips and written quotes on a page, across more than one location, a flat plan costs a fraction. Our full comparison, including a feature table, is on the Boast alternative page.

Is Boast worth it for collecting video testimonials?

For a single-location business that wants polished, edited video and sends requests by text, yes. Boast does the collection, the editing, the automated intros and outros and the SMS follow-up in one product, and its pricing page is clearer than most in this category. Team at $1,200 a year is the tier most of those buyers end up on, and it is priced fairly for what it does.

It is weaker value in three situations. First, if you mostly collect written testimonials, because each text submission uses the same response unit as a video. Second, if you run several locations or client brands, because the location ladder of 1, 5 and 20 forces Premium sooner than volume would. Third, if you want to test a program before committing, because annual billing is where the pool makes sense and monthly costs 18 to 20 percent more for a smaller allowance that resets every month.

If you are pricing more than one vendor at a time, the same plan by plan breakdown exists for Testimonial.to pricing, VideoAsk pricing and Vocal Video pricing, and every tool sits in one table on video testimonial software. Vendors change prices, so confirm the current figures on boast.io before you buy.

Frequently asked

Boast pricing: the questions people actually ask

How much does Boast cost?

Boast costs $59 a month for Basic, $119 for Team and $249 for Premium when billed monthly. Billed annually, the same plans are $600, $1,200 and $2,496 a year, shown as $50, $100 and $208 a month. Enterprise pricing is custom. There is no free plan, only a 14 day free trial.

Does Boast have a free plan?

No. Boast has no free plan. It offers a 14 day free trial with no credit card required, after which you need Basic, Team, Premium or Enterprise. The trial covers the core features, so it is the right time to test the resolution and response limits against your real program.

How many responses do you get on Boast?

Basic includes 600 responses a year on annual billing or 50 a month on monthly billing. Team includes 1,800 a year or 150 a month, and Premium 6,000 a year or 500 a month. Enterprise is unlimited. A response is any submission to your forms, text or video.

What video quality does Boast record?

Video quality depends on the plan. Basic records at 720p HD with clips up to 5 minutes, Team at 1080p HD with clips up to 10 minutes, and Premium in 4K with clips up to 15 minutes. If your clips will run on a large display or in ads, price the tier with the resolution you need.

Can Boast send testimonial requests by text message?

Yes, but not on Basic. Basic sequences send by email only. Team and Premium send by email and SMS, with 18,000 and 60,000 sequence enrollments a year respectively on annual billing. For businesses whose customers respond to texts, SMS alone can decide the tier.

Does Boast have monthly billing?

Yes. Every self-serve plan can be billed monthly or annually. Monthly is $59, $119 and $249. Annual works out about 15 to 16 percent cheaper and gives you a yearly pool of responses instead of a monthly one, so a busy month can use more of the allowance.

How many locations can you have on Boast?

Basic includes 1 location, Team 5 and Premium 20, and Enterprise is unlimited. Staff limits follow the same ladder at 5, 20 and 100. A business with two offices or an agency with several clients will usually start on Team rather than Basic.

Is Boast.io the same company as Boast AI?

No. Boast.io is the video testimonial and customer feedback platform whose pricing this page covers. Boast AI is an unrelated company that works on R&D tax credit claims. If you searched for Boast pricing and landed on tax credit fees, that is the other company.
