Judge.me is cheaper than Yotpo at every Shopify store size above 50 orders a month. Judge.me costs $0 on Forever Free or $15 a month on Awesome no matter how many orders you ship. Yotpo Reviews is free up to 50 orders, then $15 to $129 a month on Starter up to 999 orders and $119 to $379 on Pro up to 5,999 orders. At 500 orders a month with Klaviyo connected, that is $15 on Judge.me against $169 on Yotpo Pro. Yotpo earns its price only if you need what sits on its higher tiers: Google Seller Ratings bundled in, multi-store management, retail syndication and a named customer success manager.

Both apps collect photo and video reviews, send automated review requests, show star ratings on product pages and push reviews to Google Shopping. The real difference is the billing model. Yotpo meters your monthly orders and moves you up a band as you grow. Judge.me does not meter anything, so its price is set by which features you switch on. Judge.me figures below come from its Shopify App Store listing, read October 8, 2026. Yotpo figures come from the price data embedded in Yotpo's reviews pricing page, read October 7, 2026. All prices are US dollars a month.

Yotpo vs Judge.me pricing by order volume

This is where the two apps part ways. Yotpo's price climbs with your monthly order count, and Starter disappears entirely once you pass 999 orders. Judge.me stays at the same two prices from your first order to your hundred thousandth.

Two Yotpo steps hurt most. At 200 orders Starter jumps from $24 to $59, more than doubling for a store that has barely grown. At 1,000 orders Starter is no longer offered, so the cheapest Yotpo plan goes from $129 to $269 overnight. Neither step exists on Judge.me. The full slider is on our Yotpo pricing page, and every Judge.me feature by plan is on Judge.me pricing.

Is Judge.me cheaper than Yotpo?

Yes, at every store size above 50 orders a month. Judge.me Awesome costs $15 a month at any volume, while the cheapest Yotpo plan costs $24 at 150 orders, $89 at 500 and $269 at 1,500. Below 50 orders both apps have a free plan. The gap grows with your store: at 5,000 orders a month it is $364 a month, or $4,368 a year, before you add any Yotpo Pro feature.

The Klaviyo and seller ratings question

Most growing Shopify stores run their post-purchase emails in Klaviyo and advertise on Google. Those two needs decide the real Yotpo price far more than the order count, because both sit on Pro.

So a 500-order store that needs Klaviyo pays $2,028 a year on Yotpo Pro and $180 a year on Judge.me Awesome. If Google Seller Ratings under your ads matter, Yotpo bundles them on Pro. Judge.me's Shopify listing names Google Shopping sync on Awesome but does not name seller ratings, so ask Judge.me support before you count on them.

Is Judge.me better than Yotpo?

For most single Shopify stores, yes. Judge.me covers unlimited reviews, photo and video reviews, automated requests with reminders, Q&A, Google Shopping, Meta and TikTok Shop sync and 130+ integrations, Klaviyo and Gorgias included, for $15 a month. Its listing showed a 5.0 rating from 47,863 merchant reviews when we read it, which is about as strong a signal as the Shopify App Store gives.

Yotpo is better for a narrower buyer: a brand running several stores or markets, syndicating reviews to retailers, wanting an API and webhooks, or wanting reviews, loyalty and SMS from one vendor with an onboarding manager and a customer success manager. Those features sit on Premium, which Yotpo quotes through sales. If none of them is on your list, Yotpo Starter and Pro are paying for a billing model rather than a capability.

Is Yotpo worth the money?

Yotpo is worth it when the Premium features replace work you would otherwise pay for: multi-store review management, retail syndication, help desk review collection and a dedicated success manager. For a store that only needs reviews, Klaviyo and Google Shopping, it is hard to justify $119 to $379 a month against a $15 plan that does the same core job. Yotpo also sells loyalty, SMS and email as separate products with their own pricing, so the review price is rarely the whole Yotpo bill.

Switching from Yotpo to Judge.me

Judge.me includes a reviews importer on both plans, so moving does not have to cost you your history. Export your Yotpo reviews as a CSV before you uninstall anything, since removing a review app also removes its widgets and star ratings from product pages. Install Judge.me, import the file, rebuild the widgets on a duplicate theme and check them on mobile before you publish. Then reconnect Klaviyo so review requests and review data keep flowing into your existing flows, and switch Yotpo off only after the first week of new reviews has come in.

If you also sell on Etsy or Amazon, Judge.me can sync those reviews too, and it is worth knowing which channel actually pays you before you put review effort behind it. A simple way is to track every marketplace payout in one income dashboard for a quarter, then focus requests where the margin is.

What both review apps leave out

Yotpo and Judge.me both ask a buyer to rate the product they just received. That is the right proof under an Add to cart button. It leaves a gap on the homepage, the about page and the wholesale page, where a first-time visitor is deciding whether to trust the brand at all. A retail partner, a wholesale account or a customer who has reordered for three years never gets a review request, because no new order triggers one.

That is the job a testimonial tool does. You send one link to anyone, they record a short video or write a few lines in the browser with no login, consent to publish is stored with the submission, and the result goes on a Wall of Love you embed with one line of code. Our plans are priced by walls, brands and seats, never by orders: Starter is $49 a month or $288 a year for one wall, and Growth is $89 a month with unlimited walls. It sits next to either review app rather than replacing it. The Shopify testimonials page shows where those stories go on a store, our Junip pricing page covers the other review app that skips the order meter, and the Okendo vs Yotpo comparison runs the same order volumes against Okendo.
