Judge.me is the cheaper choice at every store size: $0 on Forever Free or $15 a month on Awesome, with no order meter. Okendo Reviews is free up to 50 orders a month, then $19 up to 200, $119 up to 1,500, $299 up to 3,500 and $499 up to 10,000. Okendo earns its higher price when you want managed onboarding, structured customer attributes and reviews joined to loyalty, quizzes and surveys in one customer profile. For a store that just wants product reviews with Klaviyo, the gap is about $3,400 a year in Judge.me's favor.
Both are Shopify review apps with photo and video reviews, automated review requests, on-site widgets and Google rich snippets. They charge in opposite ways. Judge.me charges for features and has only one paid plan. Okendo charges for order volume, and each step up also unlocks features. All figures below come from each app's Shopify App Store listing, read October 6, 2026, plus Okendo's own pricing page for its Advanced tier. Prices are US dollars.

Okendo vs Judge.me pricing by order volume
Order volume decides most of the bill. Judge.me never reads your order count, so it costs the same at 40 orders as at 8,000. Okendo moves up a tier as the busiest month crosses each cap. Here is the cheapest plan on each app at common store sizes.
| Orders in your busiest month | Okendo plan | Okendo monthly | Judge.me | Yearly gap, Okendo minus Judge.me Awesome |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 40 | Free | $0 | $0 or $15 | None, both can be free |
| 150 | Essential | $19 | $0 or $15 | $48 |
| 500 | Growth | $119 | $0 or $15 | $1,248 |
| 1,200 | Growth | $119 | $0 or $15 | $1,248 |
| 3,000 | Power | $299 | $0 or $15 | $3,408 |
| 8,000 | Advanced | $499 | $0 or $15 | $5,808 |
The yearly gap uses monthly billing on both sides. Okendo's yearly plans cut a little: Essential is $204 a year instead of $228, Growth $1,308 instead of $1,428, and Power $3,288 instead of $3,588. Judge.me has no yearly plan, so Awesome is simply $180 a year. Even with Okendo's discount, a store at 500 orders pays $1,128 more a year for Okendo.
The first step is the one to watch. A store at 180 orders pays Okendo $19. The month it passes 200, the bill becomes $119. A store that hovers around 200 orders should price Okendo at $119 from the start. Our Okendo pricing page has every tier and add-on in one table.
Which is cheaper with Klaviyo, Okendo or Judge.me?
Judge.me, by a wide margin. Judge.me includes Klaviyo and more than 130 other integrations on Awesome at $15 a month. Okendo lists email and SMS integrations, including Klaviyo, Attentive and Postscript, as included from Power at $299 a month, and as a paid add-on on Essential and Growth. So a store at 1,200 orders that sends review requests through Klaviyo flows pays $15 on Judge.me against $299 on Okendo Power, or Growth at $119 plus an add-on Okendo quotes.
That single feature is where most small stores make the decision. If your email program runs on Klaviyo and you are under 1,500 orders, Judge.me is the default answer unless another Okendo feature matters more to you.
Is Okendo better than Judge.me?
For most stores, no. For some brands, yes. Okendo is better when the review program is one part of a wider customer marketing plan: it records structured customer attributes (skin type, fit, size) on reviews, and sells Loyalty, Quizzes, Referrals and Surveys that share one customer profile with Reviews. Its higher tiers include managed onboarding, advanced reporting and review campaigns. Judge.me is better when you want reviews that work well, look good and cost almost nothing at any size. Its 5.0 rating across more than 48,000 merchant reviews reflects that.
Shopify's own summary of Judge.me merchant reviews highlights quick setup, low-cost plans and fast live chat support, and some recent reviews note that the app has a lot of settings to learn. Neither has a weakness in the basics: both collect photo and video reviews, send automated requests and output Google rich snippets.
When Okendo is worth the extra money
- You sell products where fit or type matters. Apparel, beauty and supplements benefit from reviews filtered by attributes such as size or skin type. Okendo builds its review form around that data.
- You want reviews, loyalty and surveys from one vendor. If you would buy a loyalty app and a survey tool anyway, compare Okendo's bundle against the total of three separate apps, not against Judge.me alone.
- You want someone to set it up for you. Managed onboarding from Power is a real service. A team without a developer may value that more than the $284 a month difference.
- You syndicate reviews to retailers. Okendo includes Bazaarvoice and Walmart syndication from Advanced. Judge.me does not list retail syndication.
Can I switch from Okendo to Judge.me?
Yes. Judge.me's Forever Free plan includes a reviews importer, so you can export reviews from Okendo and import them without paying for Awesome first. Keep Okendo installed until the imported reviews display correctly on your product pages, because uninstalling a review app removes its widgets and star ratings from your theme straight away. If you use Okendo Loyalty or Surveys, plan their replacement before you cancel, since those products are tied to the same account. Check your rich snippets in Search Console a week after the switch.
Which one should a Shopify store pick?
| Your store | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Under 50 orders, reviews only | Either free plan | Both cost $0; Judge.me Free has no order cap to outgrow |
| Any size, reviews plus Klaviyo | Judge.me Awesome | $15 a month against $299 for Okendo Power |
| Apparel or beauty brand that filters reviews by fit or type | Okendo | Attribute-based reviews are its core strength |
| Brand buying loyalty and surveys too | Price the Okendo bundle | One customer profile across products, compare to three separate apps |
| Team with no developer that wants hands-on setup | Okendo Power | Managed onboarding is included at that tier |
If you are still comparing more apps, our Judge.me pricing page covers what Awesome adds over Free, and the Loox vs Okendo pricing comparison runs the same order volumes against Loox. Review photos and videos rarely give you enough footage for paid social, so stores that run ads often turn a product page into UGC-style video ads separately, while reviews stay on the product pages.
What neither review app collects
Okendo and Judge.me both ask a buyer to review the product they bought. That is the right proof for a product page. It leaves a gap on the homepage, the about page and the wholesale page, where a first-time visitor is deciding whether to trust the brand at all. A wholesale buyer, a retail partner or a customer who has reordered for three years never gets a review request, because the request is triggered by an order.
That is the job a testimonial tool does. You send one link to anyone, they record a short video or write a few lines with no login, consent to publish is stored with the submission, and the result goes on a Wall of Love you embed with one line of code. Our plans are priced by walls, brands and seats, never by orders: Starter is $49 a month or $288 a year for one wall, and it sits alongside either review app rather than replacing it. The Shopify testimonials page shows where these stories go on a store and how to collect the first ten.
