Endorsal costs $39 a month on Starter, $79 on Professional and $349 on Advanced, or $351, $711 and $3,141 a year billed annually, but those are only the entry prices. Every plan climbs in steps as your customer list and your website traffic grow, so a Starter account with 20,000 monthly visitors pays $119 a month, not $39. There is also a free plan and a 14 day trial with no credit card.
That makes Endorsal a tool you buy by audience size. Below is every plan and every hidden tier, read from the plan data behind endorsal.io/pricing in September 2026, what a video testimonial really costs on each plan, and when a flat plan is the cheaper answer.
How much does Endorsal cost?
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Websites | Customers | Monthly visitors | Video testimonials |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1 | 100 | 1,000 | None |
| Starter | from $39 | from $351 a year | 1 | 500 | 2,500 | 10 in total, 2 minutes, 480p |
| Professional | from $79 | from $711 a year | 3 | 500 | 2,500 | 25 in total, 5 minutes, 1080p |
| Advanced | from $349 | from $3,141 a year | 5 | 25,000 | 500,000 | Unlimited, 15 minutes, 4K |
Endorsal calls a website a property: one domain where the embed code runs and testimonials are collected. Customers means the total number of people you request testimonials from. Monthly visitors means unique visitors who see an Endorsal widget, popup or Wall of Love on your site in a month. The pricing page notes that it bills in US dollars and that other currencies are shown as approximations.
Why the Endorsal price changes with your traffic
The plan cards show a starting price. Above them sit two questions: how many customers do you have, and how many monthly unique visitors see your social proof. Your answers pick a tier, and Endorsal chooses the first tier where both numbers fit. So whichever number is larger relative to the ladder decides your bill.
| Customers up to | Visitors up to | Starter monthly | Starter annual | Professional monthly | Professional annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 500 | 2,500 | $39 | $351 | $79 | $711 |
| 2,500 | 10,000 | $79 | $711 | $129 | $1,161 |
| 5,000 | 25,000 | $119 | $1,071 | $179 | $1,611 |
| 10,000 | 50,000 | $159 | $1,431 | $229 | $2,061 |
Here is the consequence nobody mentions on review sites. A local business with 300 customers and a website that gets 20,000 visitors a month is not on the $39 Starter plan. Its traffic puts it on the third step, $119 a month, even though its customer list is tiny. Traffic is also the number you least control: a good month in search, a press mention or a paid campaign can push you up a step.
Advanced has its own ladder, from $349 a month at 25,000 customers and 500,000 visitors up to $599 a month at 75,000 customers and 1,000,000 visitors. Past both of those ceilings, the pricing page moves you to a custom plan.
Is Endorsal free?
Yes, there is a free plan. It covers one website, 100 customers, 1,000 monthly visitors, 50 request emails and 10 SMS a month, with automated requests included. It does not include video testimonials, FOMO popups, the Wall of Love or API access. That makes it a way to test written review collection on a small site, not a way to run a testimonial program.
The paid plans also come with a 14 day trial. The pricing page states no credit card is required and you can cancel any time.
What each Endorsal plan includes besides the limits
The tier sets your audience size. The plan sets your features, and three of them push buyers to Professional sooner than traffic does.
| Feature | Free | Starter | Professional | Advanced |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Automated requests by email and SMS | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Request emails a month (entry tier) | 50 | 250 | 250 | Unlimited |
| SMS a month (entry tier) | 10 | 50 | 50 | 1,000 |
| FOMO popups | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Product reviews for Shopify, WooCommerce and others | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Wall of Love | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Branding controls | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Custom domains | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Video previews and downloads | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Review marketing to social networks | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Incentivized requests | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| White label | No | No | No | No |
SMS past the monthly allowance is metered from $0.025 per message segment. The email and SMS allowances grow with each tier, so a Starter account on its top step gets 5,000 emails and 1,000 SMS a month.
The row that surprises buyers is the Wall of Love. Endorsal markets it prominently, but it is not on Starter at any tier. If a hosted page of all your testimonials is the thing you want, Professional at $79 a month is your floor.
How much does an Endorsal video testimonial cost?
Video is where Endorsal is tightest. Starter includes 10 video testimonials in total, with a 2 minute limit per clip and 480p quality. The top Starter step raises the count to 40, but the clip length and the 480p ceiling do not change. Professional starts at 25 videos in total at 1080p with 5 minute clips, and rises to 55 on its top step. Only Advanced is unlimited.
| Plan and step | Annual price | Video testimonials | Cost per video if you use them all |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter, entry | $351 | 10, 480p | $35.10 |
| Starter, top step | $1,431 | 40, 480p | $35.78 |
| Professional, entry | $711 | 25, 1080p | $28.44 |
| Professional, top step | $2,061 | 55, 1080p | $37.47 |
| Advanced, entry | $3,141 | Unlimited, 4K | Falls with volume |
The video limit is a total, not a monthly allowance, which is how the pricing page describes it. For a business that collects a couple of clips a month, 10 videos is a few months of collection, and 480p will look soft next to the rest of a modern site. We compare how every vendor meters video on video testimonial software.
Does Endorsal have monthly billing?
Yes. Every paid plan can be billed monthly or annually. The annual toggle is labeled 3 months free, and the arithmetic holds exactly: $39 times 9 is $351, $79 times 9 is $711, and $349 times 9 is $3,141. That is a 25 percent saving, which is larger than most tools in this category offer. The trade is that you commit to a tier for a year, and if your traffic grows past it mid-year, you move up.
Endorsal pricing compared with a flat plan
Endorsal is a real product with a broad feature set. FOMO popups, product reviews for online stores, SMS requests and imports from Google, Facebook, Yelp and Tripadvisor sit in one account. If you want all of that and your site is small, Starter or Professional is fair value.
The math changes when either of your audience numbers grows, or when you want video. Here is the same program priced both ways at annual rates.
| Your program | Endorsal | Testimonials |
|---|---|---|
| 1 site, 400 customers, 2,000 visitors, text only | Starter, $351 a year | Starter, $180 a year |
| 1 site, 400 customers, 20,000 visitors | Starter third step, $1,071 a year | Starter, $180 a year, no visitor meter |
| Wall of Love plus 1080p video | Professional, $711 a year, 25 videos in total | Starter, $180 a year, unlimited video |
| Automated requests and API | Starter, $351 a year | Growth, $384 a year |
| 4 client sites, branding off | Advanced, $3,141 a year (Professional allows 3 sites) | Studio, $780 a year, white-label embeds |
| FOMO popups and Shopify product reviews | Starter, $351 a year | Endorsal wins this row: we do not run popups or order-triggered product reviews |
The pattern is simple. Endorsal is cheap for a small audience and a text program. Traffic, video and a fourth website are the three things that push it up fast. The full feature comparison is on our Endorsal alternative page, and if you are pricing other tools at the same time, Boast pricing meters form responses instead of visitors, while Testimonial.to pricing bills per space.
How to choose an Endorsal plan
Work it out from two numbers you already have. Take the monthly unique visitors from your analytics for the pages that will carry the widget, and the number of customers you will actually ask this year. Find the first row in the tier table where both fit. Then check the feature table: if you need the Wall of Love or 1080p video, jump to the matching Professional price.
The request side deserves the same thought. The cleanest moment to ask for a testimonial is right after a customer has paid, and if your invoices already run through an automated accounts receivable workflow, the paid event is a trigger you can reuse. Our automated testimonial collection page lists the trigger events that work by business type, and our pricing page shows the flat alternative, with no visitor or customer tiers to outgrow.
